Hello Spartan Families! Your student will be bringing home a “Three Way Pledge” form today. The “Three Way Pledge” outlines the roles of students, parents/guardians, and Cedar Middle School in ensuring student success. Please review and sign the pledge with your students, and have them return signed copies to their Language Arts teacher. Cedar is committed to this three way partnership, and we look forward to a great year.

Just a friendly reminder that parent drop off and pick up is located in the back of the school which is accessed by entering the parking lot from the entrance on Cedar St. closest to Escondido. This is the safest way to drop off and pick up your students.

Welcome back CMS family! Just a friendly reminder that our first day back is on Wednesday, 8/6/25, and will be our usual early out, Wednesday hours for teacher collaboration (8:35 a.m. - 2:27 p.m.).

Safety is one of HUSD’s top priorities. In the unlikely event of an emergency, our schools need to have up-to-date student and parent contact information. Together, we have built a strong and supportive learning community where students have proven to grow and thrive, and we show no signs of slowing down in our dedication to you. I am excited to continue our journey of academic excellence and social-emotional growth, and I look forward to seeing all the wonderful things you will accomplish this year.

If your student is registered at Cedar Middle School you can pick up your Chromebook and Purchase PE clothes. There will not be any Schedules handed out on these 3 days.
