Our students & staff brought the energy and excitement to our school-wide Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament! From friendly rivalries to intense championship rounds, the competition was full of laughter, strategy, and school spirit. 🎉

It was amazing to see students cheering each other on, showing great sportsmanship, and having fun together. Congratulations to all of our participants for making this event such a smashing success! 👏

Our students had an egg-cellent time at this year’s Eggstravaganza! 🐣From exciting egg hunts to games, laughter, and sweet treats, the day was filled with joy, teamwork, and unforgettable memories. It’s always amazing to see our school community come together and celebrate in such a fun and festive way.

Our AVID students put their creativity and future goals on display by designing dioramas of their dream dorm rooms! Each project reflected their unique personalities, interests, and aspirations for college life. We’re proud of their imagination and the excitement they’re building for their futures!

We were honored to welcome Mr. Jose Ledesma, Employment Services Supervisor with the County of San Bernardino, as our Principal for the Day! His dedication to serving our community made his visit truly inspiring. Thank you, Mr. Ledesma, for your leadership and commitment to our students!

Our 7th Grade Honors Science students have been diving deep into the amazing world of ecosystems! From deserts and rainforests to oceans and tundras, students researched how living and nonliving factors interact to support life. To wrap up the unit, they created and delivered presentations showcasing the unique characteristics, organisms, and environmental challenges of different ecosystems. During their presentations, students are also practicing and strengthening their public speaking skills. We’re so proud of their hard work, curiosity, and creativity as they explored the science behind our planet’s diverse habitats!

Students and staff celebrated St. Patrick’s Day and Kona Ice by wearing green, showing their festive spirit, and enjoying snow cones together. 🍀

Congratulations to our CMS Advanced Band & String Orchestra! Both ensembles represented Cedar Middle School with pride at the SCSBOA Los Osos Band & String Festival, earning an Excellent Rating in their performances! Their hard work, dedication, and musicianship truly showed on stage! We are incredibly proud of these students and the way they continue to represent our program.
