Good afternoon Cypress Families🌪️:
To help keep our classrooms focused, engaging, and distraction-free, please review two important campus policies with your child:
1. Toys Stay at Home: Please ensure all toys, trading cards, action figures, stuffed animals, etc. remain at home. Items brought to school distract from the instructional time our students receive. Any toys brought to campus will be confiscated and held in the front office where a parent or guardian must pick them up at the end of the day.
2. Cell Phones & Smart devices: In accordance with CA Bill 3216, all smartphones and smart devices--including smartwatches--must be turned completely off and stored securely inside student backpacks for the entire school day. Completely off = powered down, not just on silent. If you need to get in contact with your student you must call the front office.
Thank you for your partnership in keeping our school day focused on learning!

Please take a look at the information provided so that you can have your best year yet! If you have any questions, reach out to our front office staff.

Out of 11,000 HUSD elementary students, one Cypress Cyclone stood out above the rest for the District Student of the Month. All school sites nominate one student, and out of all the nominees across the district, they chose ours! This student was selected for their academic excellence, dedication on the basketball court with our Cypress Basketball team, their leadership skills in ASB, their genuine kindness, and their impeccable character as a respectable citizen of our school community--we are very honored to present the Hesperia Unified School District Elementary Student of the Month Award to our very own, Brooklyn Rader!!🎉

Our 2nd Semester Final Performance is being live-streamed TODAY. We’ve worked incredibly hard for this moment—grab some popcorn and join us virtually!
